count your blessings
i dont have much time to blog. but i have so much to say.
gotta cel jo's bday today! whee!

1. HAPPY NAT NAT DAY!
2. A cool friend asked me this question a few months back. "which stage of your life do you love best?"
I think it has to be now. My answer surprised her. Sec school was fun and sweet but i dont think i was sensible enough to appreciate life then. alot had happened and some werent too pleasant to count as memories. In JC, it was just about books, playing creative concentration games, making rockets and sneaking food to class. the two years flew past too fast.
now, my family's happy and healthy. there's my bestie and close friends to count on when i fuss over minute troubles. (:
3. reliance: i rely alot on the people around me. i still stick to my parents for security, used to follow everything that my sis does and i rely the most on my best friend. i know i gotta quit that and learn to be strong and independant. but i count my blessings to have all these amazing people in my life.
gee. i just used point form again.

(language puzzle: the study of the human lang)
animals are indeed intelligent.
a hummingbird's brain is the size of a grain but it can remember all the flowers it has visited for nectar.
likewise, the rat is able to make a mental map and returns to the same place where it got food from.
the nutcracker (bird) can remember about 30000 locations where it has hidden nuts.
fishes enjoy tickling and brushing against one another. the sea is pretty much alive and full of fun!

fact of the day:
On August 12, 1895, Minnie Dean became the first woman to be hanged in New Zealand. Her crime was "baby farming." She would adopt unwanted babies for a certain fee and then dispose of them, a "service" she began in 1889. The police caught on to Minnie after six years and found her to be most certainly guilty when they dug up three bodies of infants in her flower garden.

This is one mad woman!
I have always thought of adopting kids (african ones are way cute!) despite strong disapproval from my parents.
i can understand their concerns.
Would you tell your child he/she is adopted? if so, when is the best time?
I still cant find the perfect solution to that.
