a gift
today we talked with a heavy heart
let's hope a cooling off period will be good for the both of you
hugs
during acct class,
we discussed about morals and ethics
prof chan highlighted their differences and made us discuss how we would act in diff scenarios
i wondered what i would do if i were faced with the pressure to cook the books and the fear of losing my rice bowl
and i figured out that i would probably do the right thing cause it's a lose-lose situation
i would either be fired for not wanting to adjust the figures or be their scapegoat if things went wrong
some people have the gift of making people feel appreciated
even over the phone with a total stranger!
human communication and interaction are indeed fascinating
i shall learn from these people, to note the name of the caller even if he/she is a stranger
someone gave me a piece of advice
it's here and now that we should try things out
cause it's the safest
and we can fall back on our friends if it doesnt go well.
it's true.
i hope things are fine for you too
cause you didnt appear too good today
Quote of the Day"Things turn out best for those that make the best of the way things turn out."
- Art Linkletter
sometimes, things dont turn out the way you want them to
(chanced upon this quote which i heard several years back but i never knew who said it till today)
Fact of the Day:Rubies and sapphires are made of corundum — the hardest known rock after the diamond.
Joke of the Day:Two redneck guys go on a fishing trip. They rent all the equipment: the reels, the rods, the wading suits, the rowboat, the car, and even a cabin in the woods. They spend a fortune.
The first day they go fishing, but they don't catch anything. The same thing happens on the second day, and on the third day. It goes on like this until finally, on the last day of their vacation, one of the men catches a fish. As they're driving home they're really depressed. One guy turns to the other and says, "Do you realize that this one lousy fish we caught cost us fifteen hundred dollars?"
The other guy says, "Wow! It's a good thing we didn't catch any more!"
is it too much of the day? too much for a day maybe
