my missing warriors
to all:
SELAMAT HARI RAYA ADILFITRI!!!congrats to everyone who has survived the tough 30 days of Ramadan (:
though it's a public holiday, most uni students have to gather together for project discussions. "Project" is an overused word in a typical tertiary student's life. but im really not complaining. in fact, i should count my blessings for having such a fun and bonded group. we work really well together!

macs breakfast before starting work!

after 7 hrs of discussion, bel and i did some quick shopping! (more of shopping for her 3rd yr anny present)
then, it dawned on us how staying in hall really keeps us away from civilisation. suntec has revamped quite a bit.
there's this musical fountain that looks like a miniature of the fountain of wealth but prettier. it's so special cause the tiny spots of light shining on the streams of water are made to synchronize with the pace of the music! listening to the gushes of water and observing the specks of white light makes me feel that im sleeping under blanket of stars. it's dazzling yet blissful (:
lately, i'm so awed by all these beautiful sights that it's almost like im keeping a mental note of the places that i wanna revisit, given the luxury of time.

i'm exhausted.
assignments (and even shopping) can be so draining sometimes.
even so, i miss the diva a lot.
it's saturday night fever!
i wish i could be there.
well, it's true.
all im missing are the warriors.
today's indeed for reminisce of all happy thingsi can still vividly remember odac trip to stong in mid-may this year.
to think that i was facing the fear of falling off the mountain and
fearing getting leech bites throughout the entire climb uphill and downhill,
i actually miss trekking
i miss the waterfall, stars-filled nightsky and the bumpy train rides
(yes! i really like trains a lot!). i miss waking up to fresh air and actually seeing morning dew on leaves, cooking our sumptuous meals with the most rudimentary tools, being soaked in so much perspiration that i feel glad that im doing the best workout, watching the sun set and never wanting to leave..i long for the feeling that "i'm on the top of the world, looking down on creation..." -sings- this is indeed a once in a lifetime experience. as much as i miss trekking, i understand fully that i wouldnt have the guts to survive another trip of having to face those creepycrawlies.
but trekking really bonds people cause everyone looks out for each other in face of life-and-death situations
it's not a joking matter, really. cause we've all heard of unfortunate incidents
they do happen
the backpackers waiting for train! (the guys carry backpacks that are almost 50kg i swear)

seeing genuine crytals embedded in the rocks

caving

Sunrise, from the mountaintop

the bridge that marks the end of a fulfilling journey

and yet again, i miss krabi
that lucky person gets to visit it again
i wish i could go too
but it's okay
at least i know you will take ali and baba's pic for me (: yay!
on a side note, mark dropped me a bwestie message today! (: he's flying to brunei and yet we havent had gang outing since. GRRR
each footstep is a new love letter ♥
