i caught it today with vic! (: after 6 hours at je lib! yesyes, it's only two weeks into school and i'm already mugging at the lib! vic and i will be there again tom cause this weekend's gonna be busy. call me kiasu/paranoid, i dont care! jacq wants to be a happy mugger! :D well, can't beat the sec 4 kids and acjc boys who are starting to prepare for year end exams now! though i feel it's a tad too early but it's always good to start early. way to go kids! (: oh, it still sucks to feel old next to them. uhhh ) :

27 DRESSES centres on Jane (Heigl), an idealistic, romantic and completely selfless woman... a perennial bridal attendant whose own happy ending is nowhere in sight. But when younger sister Tess captures the heart of Jane's boss - with whom Jane is secretly in love - Jane begins to reexamine her "always-a-bridesmaid..." lifestyle.

to me, this is not just any romantic comedy chick flick or whatsoever. it has a striking resemblance to "how to lose a guy in 10 days" in terms of it's story line but i like this better cause of the flamboyant dresses, the many fancy yet highly-commercialized weddings and the "always a bridesmaid" concept. most of all, I felt that I could relate to Jane in certain ways. For starters, she has an attractive sistie whom she grew up to be quite envious of. Like her, i have a beautiful sistie whom i pride myself upon. (: Jane is also a hopeless romantic, a severe one who's crazy over weddings! And, she has one of my biggest flaws which i'm still working hard to correct. There are several occasions that my problem has caused hurt to my dear friends and even my family. urg. ny eve was one of them. People have been very forgiving but i know i've got to learn to be firmer and more resolute. i'll keep trying (:
oh, i also like the way they rolled the credits! i shan't reveal any more! it's a great show! though second to "national treasure" which i can easily give a 5 popcorns rating, it's still a show not to be missed! (:
