nikko's flying off to melbourne tonight. she'll be there for three years! ): it seems like everyone's leaving spore..
we met up last night to bid her farewell and she treated jeremy and i to ichiban! we ate heartily. each of us had a full course meal, several platters of sushi, chawanmushi and momo icecream even! we also shared saba fish and we were so bloated that we had to cancel the softshell crab!

it was only when nikko exclaimed, "i'm 20 already!" before i realised that we've known each other for three years. my, how time flies and how everyone has grown and changed over the years. i can still vividly recall how we first met. it was ac's post-alevels party at chinablack and they were crashing. nikko was 17 then and she couldnt enter. i lent her my bus pass, totally unaware of how big a trouble i would land us in. and so, we were chased out after a stern warning from the bouncers. that was when the night started! we went fullerton for drinks before club-hopping and roaming the streets like stray kids. i was brought into their world. everything that happened that night has never left me. how nik faked a thai accent and she can still do it very well now, how they introduced me to tim as michelle, how we were so mean to jeer at tim behind's his back cause he was just sucha show-off, how i first heard jeremy play the piano and he played "if i ain't got you" in the club, how jeremy and i were so shy about dancing cause we were so new to clubbing whereas hafidz and nikko are naturals on the dancefloor...

many things have changed now and even chinablack has closed.

now, i'm only looking forward to visit my sis in europe after pa in july. maybe, i can meet up with nik then and maybe, visit joanne in london even! :D
