sigh, there wouldnt be elective this week so we wouldnt get to share and hear about how everyone else had spent their weekend. okay, that's not the main reason i go for electives. heh. either way, it's past my sleeping time and im wide awake now so i shall blog about my weekend here!

let's start with...
hot yoga with stephie on friday
She had this invitation from True Yoga (a very atas place :S ) to go for a free one hour trial and she could bring two friends along so brilliant her made that our date :D naturally, ulu me was extremely excited and when we met at about 5pm, we talked, gossiped and yakked for two hours straight. there was so much to catch up on. and steph sweetie bought me vs body spray from the states! the scent's a bubblegum kinda sweet ((: uh, about talking... it was rather tiring cause of the explosive news that saps a lot of energy when you gasp and gesticulate and then, spring twenty questions at a time. and you know, steph can be soo humorous. i loved her patronizing look whenever we talk about things she cannot stand ie. girls saying goodnight to their stuffed toys! LOL!! i agree that talking to your toys is indeed a tad too girlish and we're kinda overaged for that. oh wells.
and so we just kept talking, over clam chowder at the soup spoon and continued at true yoga. hot yoga was a fun way to workout. yoga on its own is a great exercise cause every part of your muscle from your neck to your toes would be stretched. and since hot yoga is conducted in a 36deg room (akin to walking into a humid bathroom), i felt it has a dual effect on losing weight cause i did sweat damn a lot. eeks. but i enjoyed myself v much. part of the fun was derived from watching lazy steph do some of the moves half-heartedly. i even caught her yawning once! i dont know how she dared to do so in front of our coach who's the grand yoga champion of 2006. (it's a he by the way) she's just so adorable la! we really wished we had brought along our cameras tho. ) : well, there would be a next outing (: this time, im supposed to come up with a better date idea than yoga. it was sucha great idea and im sure to have difficulty coming up with a better one. actually, i suggested laser quest and we thought of asking the whole bunch of castor peeps! hope they won't find it too kiddish to run around a maze and shoot each other with laser guns. that was what my ac gang did back in j1 and those were v v v fond memories! :)))

rainbow saturday, hall two production
yay. saturday was my second rainbow session and this time my kid was a p6 girl, peiqi. she's quiet, focused and diligent. it was a joy teaching her. (: but i admit that i was a lil upset that i missed the earlier session and couldnt get to see douglas. next next week it shall be!

after rainbow, i went to meet geok and bren who had met earlier for shopping. they took a zillion photos and stashed some great deals! the rest of the gang (ie jo shin mark amily) came and we trotted off to jubilee hall for hall two's production, secrets. qi was the female lead in the show so our gang was there full force to support her! her entire family, even her gong gong and her maid, came down too! qi was a natural! and we thought the role was quite suitable for her! haha!

family sunday
i met natalyn for tuition and visited grams till late. it was practically a sleepy day cause i slept on the way there and slept another two hours at gram's place. didnt manage to go msia for seafood nor catch nutty chesty bang bang.
ohoh, i've got to say this - i'm a notebook freak!
a good one cause i resisted all temptations to buy even though i saw so many nice ones today. you can hear the tinge of regret in my words but uhh, i know i still have a few that are still unopened and unused. still, more wouldnt really hurt right? :X
